Our Client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support the legal team. This position requires the ability to work effectively with legal professionals while utilizing various software tools. The ideal candidate will also have experience or willingness to learn how to use Unity for legal document management, visualization, and project management tasks. This unique requirement will help streamline processes and improve team efficiency.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and managing legal documents, including contracts, filings, and correspondence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Legal Assistance, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role is preferred.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, processes, and documentation.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Unity or willingness to learn its application in a legal setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Familiarity with legal case management software.
- Experience working with 3D modeling or visualization tools in Unity.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic software issues related to Unity.
- Knowledge of the legal industry’s evolving technological trends.
- Conduct legal research and gather information needed for case preparation or compliance matters.
- Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by organizing evidence, exhibits, and other legal materials.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for legal documents.
- Draft and edit legal documents such as letters, memorandums, and reports, under the guidance of legal professionals.
- Coordinate meetings, court dates, and appointments for legal professionals and clients.
- Ensure all legal documents are filed in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive legal information.
- Assist in the management of case timelines and deadlines.
- Work with Unity software tools to help create legal simulations, manage legal databases, or enhance project workflows.
- Use Unity for organizing legal data visualization projects, creating virtual environments for presentations, or collaborating on digital legal models as required by the team.
