General Manager and Mentor

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to join our team and lead our efforts
in guiding candidates through their upskilling journey. The ideal candidate will be a passionate
leader with a strong background in mentorship, training, team management, and public speaking.
They will play a pivotal role in managing our team, mentoring candidates, providing training
sessions, creating engaging social media content, and assisting in candidate interviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. General Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the upskilling program.
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure smooth communication and collaboration among team members.

2. Candidate Mentorship and Training:

  • Provide personalized mentorship to candidates, guiding them through their upskilling
    journey.
  • Design and deliver training sessions and workshops covering a range of relevant topics.
  • Monitor candidate progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

3. Social Media Content Creation:

  • Comfortably engage in front of the camera for the creation of engaging social media
    content.
  • Develop content strategies to promote the upskilling program across various social media
    platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce high-quality content that resonates with
    our target audience.
  • Assist in monitoring social media channels, responding to inquiries, and engaging with
    social media followers.

4. Candidate Interview Support:

  • Assist in conducting candidate interviews, evaluating their skills, and assessing their
    suitability for specific roles.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the hiring team based on candidate
    performance and potential.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in an education or training-
    related environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate individuals to achieve their goals.
  • Experience in public speaking and comfortable presenting in front of both live and virtual
    audiences.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for education, lifelong learning, and empowering others to succeed.
