Job description

We are looking for an electrician who is skilled in Fire Alarm installation. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the installation of fire alarm systems, supervisory valve manual, pull stations, horn and horn strobe, smoke detectors and heat detectors, class A and class B wiring.

• Install, examine, replace or repair, pull stations, Heat detectors, Bell/horns.

Thorough understanding of and ability to communicate blueprints, drawings, work orders, and diagrams.

Demonstrate strong work ethic, ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to balance a physically demanding workload (standing, lifting, climbing, bending, crawling in confined spaces) and to work in a variety of indoor/outdoor environment.

Licence/Certification:

• 309A
• Working at Heights -Elevated Work Platform – Worker Health & Safety Awareness – WHMIS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Alarm technician: 4 years (required)

Licence/Certification: CFAA (preferred)

Work Location: In person
