Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in freight, shipping receiving, and transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers
• Utilize transportation management systems to track and manage shipments
• Communicate with drivers and provide necessary information for successful deliveries
• Analyze shipment data to optimize routes and reduce costs
• Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods
• Use phone systems to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners

Experience

• Previous experience in a dispatching role, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment
• Familiarity with SyteLine, AS400, or similar software is a plus
• Ability to type efficiently and accurately
• Knowledge of 3PL operations is advantageous
