We are seeking a strategic and hands-on CFO to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial leadership, particularly within the hospitality industry, and a proven track record of optimizing financial performance in a multi-property environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, and budgets for all properties.
- Conduct financial analysis to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Ensure cash flow management aligns with operational and investment strategies.
Compliance & Government Remittances
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations in Canada and the USA.
- Manage all government remittances, including tax filings, payroll deductions, and statutory obligations.
Accounting Oversight
- Lead and supervise all accounting departments across multiple properties.
- Implement financial controls and best practices to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Drive process improvements and technology adoption in financial reporting.
Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with ownership, executive teams, and hotel GMs to align financial goals.
- Develop and execute financial strategies that support long-term growth.
- Present financial insights to stakeholders and recommend data-driven decisions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of financial leadership experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance.
- Experience managing multi-property hotel financial operations.
- Knowledge of hospitality accounting systems (e.g., Opera, M3, SAP, or similar).
- Must have CPA, CFA
