We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper for our client. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in bookkeeping, specifically with QuickBooks. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Utilize QuickBooks software to manage financial data and ensure consistency and accuracy in the system.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including issuing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and company accounts.
- Track and categorize expenses for efficient budget management.
- Assist with payroll processing by recording payroll data accurately and resolving any discrepancies.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciling accounts as needed.
- Ensure that all bookkeeping complies with legal requirements and company policies, maintaining accuracy and completeness in all financial records.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a corporate setting.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial data to non-financial team members.
- Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) – In-Person

Salary Range: $22 – $28 per hour (Based on experience)
