Our client is a well-established and growing electronics company. We take pride in being one of the leading electronics manufacturers in Ontario, Canada. We serve customers worldwide but mainly in the USA and Canada. With production facilities in China and Canada, we are securing a strong brand and reputation in low volume Turn-key PCB assembly in the EMS industry. We require an Account Manager to help us meet our yearly sales targets. Salary is dependent upon experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for growing market share in the existing books of business and achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Responsible for nurturing client relationships through in-person and virtual meetings, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Respond to inbound leads distributed by the sales manager and work to find the ideal terms to convert the prospect to a client.
  • Serve as the liaison between clients and the company, managing communication, resolving issues, and driving business growth through up-selling and/or cross-selling.
  • When required, collaborate cross-functionally to meet changing client needs and achieve organizational growth objectives.
  • Proactively assess clients’ needs, recommend or assist in selecting appropriate services, and negotiate prices and other sales terms.
  • Develop and communicate client forecasts internally for larger accounts to assist with production planning and enhanced client experience.
  • Develop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate the benefits of Bitteleā€™s offerings.
  • Consult with clients through the entire sales process, including after sale, to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
  • Develop and maintain technical product or service knowledge to explain features to clients and answer questions about goods or services.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to resolve all client-related questions and concerns.
  • Communicating all production issues with clients to get orders executed effectively.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Technologist or technician diploma in an Electronics Technologist, Technical or Engineering program, and/or past electronics industry experience.
  • Knowledge of schematics and PCB design.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills with a technical mindset.
  • Strong skills with ERP software, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Publisher would be an asset.

Must have for candidates

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales
  • personality of a good sales person

Salary – 50k Base plus commission
